Trail Usage Data

Friends of the Chessie Trail has been collecting trail usage data at various sites for over two years. This data allows us to discern usage patterns, formulate plans for future maintenance projects, and determine the effectiveness of outreach programs. The Recreation Committee collects and analyzes the data monthly. Check out a sampling of our most recent data, as well as a summary from years past, below.

PLEASE NOTE: Trail data is collected using an infrared sensor. No photographs or any other personally identifiable information are collected or stored.​
